Note that parking may incur a small fee, around €5 for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Mullacor via public transport, take a bus from Dublin to Glendalough (Bus Éireann operates services from Dublin to the area). Once in Glendalough, you will need to take a local taxi or arrange a rideshare service to get to the Mullacor trailhead, as public transport does not go directly there. The taxi fare may cost around €15-€20. Alternatively, you can also consider walking the approximately 5 km from Glendalough to Mullacor, which will take about 1-1.5 hours but be prepared for uneven terrain.
Hiking
For those already in the Wicklow Mountains and looking to hike to Mullacor, you can start from the Glendalough Visitor Centre. Follow the Wicklow Way trail, which leads you towards Mullacor.
