Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Ballasalla Village Centre, head north on the A7 (Main Road). Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A3 towards the coast. After approximately 0.5 miles, you'll see a sign for the Ayres National Nature Reserve on your left. Follow the path leading into the reserve.

  • Bicycle

    If you're cycling, start from the Ballasalla Village Centre and head north on the A7. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the A3. Cycle for about 0.5 miles until you see the entrance to the Ayres National Nature Reserve on your left. There are bike racks available at the entrance.

  • Public Transport

    While Ballasalla doesn’t have a direct bus to the Ayres National Nature Reserve, you can take a bus from Ballasalla to Ramsey. Catch the bus at the Ballasalla bus stop on the A7. After about a 30-minute ride, get off at the Ramsey Bus Station. From there, you can walk approximately 1 mile north to the reserve entrance, following the signs.
