Getting There

    Start at the Ballasalla railway station. Exit the station and turn left onto the main road (A5). Follow the A5 road until you reach the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, turn right onto Mill Road. Continue walking straight along Mill Road for approximately 0.5 miles. You will see signs for Rushen Abbey on your left. The entrance is clearly marked, and you will find the abbey set back from the road.

    From the Ballasalla bus stop, take bus number 1 or 2 heading towards Castletown. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop for Mill Road. Once you get off, walk along Mill Road for about 5 minutes. Rushen Abbey will be on your left, and there are signs directing you to the entrance.
