Start from Glen Maye and head east on the A1 road towards Douglas. After approximately 5 miles, take the exit for Ballasalla (A5). Continue on the A5 until you reach Mill Road. Turn left onto Mill Road, and Rushen Abbey will be on your left. There is parking available near the entrance. Please note that there may be a small fee for parking.

From Glen Maye, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the bus towards Douglas. You can catch either the 1 or 2 bus service. Get off at the Ballasalla stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Rushen Abbey. Head east on Main Road, then turn onto Mill Road. Rushen Abbey will be on your left. Bus fares are typically around £2-£3 depending on the distance traveled.
