From Kirk Michael, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Main Road near the Kirk Michael Post Office. Catch the Bus Vannin service number 3, which operates towards Laxey. The bus will take you through scenic countryside, approximately 30 minutes to reach Laxey. Make sure to inform the driver of your stop. Get off at the Laxey Village stop.

Once you arrive at the Laxey Village bus stop, head towards the Laxey Glen Mills. Continue walking straight until you reach the main road, Mines Road. Follow Mines Road up the hill for about 15 minutes. You will see The Great Laxey Wheel on your left, easily recognizable by its large structure.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Kirk Michael. Head east on the A3 road towards Laxey, following the signs. The route is approximately 6 miles and offers beautiful views. Upon reaching Laxey, you'll find bike parking available near The Great Laxey Wheel.
