Walking
If you are starting from the Laxey Village Centre, head east on the A2 road (New Road) towards the coast. Continue straight, and you will pass Laxey Creek on your left. Keep walking until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork onto the A2 (Laxey Promenade). Walk along the promenade until you reach the Laxey Wheel, a famous landmark. From the Laxey Wheel, continue up the hill on the A2 until you see a sign for Great Laxey Mines Railway. Follow the signs, and the railway entrance will be on your right just past the Laxey Mines.

Bus
From the Laxey Village Centre, catch the bus service heading towards Ramsey. The bus stop is located near the Laxey Post Office. Board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Great Laxey Mines Railway. The journey takes about 5-10 minutes, and the bus service runs regularly. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return times.

Tram
From the Laxey Village Centre, walk to the Laxey Station of the Manx Electric Railway. Purchase a ticket for the tram heading towards Ramsey. Stay on the tram for one stop and disembark at the Great Laxey Mines Railway stop. The railway will be clearly marked, and from there, it is just a short walk to the entrance.
