Getting There

    From the center of Onchan, head northwest on Main Road (A52) towards Douglas. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A1. Turn left onto the A1 and walk for about 20 minutes. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the sign for Laxey Glen, which will be to your right as you reach the outskirts of Laxey. Follow the signs down the path into the glen.

  • Bus

    From Onchan, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Road. Take bus number 3 or 4 heading towards Laxey. The buses run regularly, approximately every 15-30 minutes. After about a 15-minute ride, get off at the Laxey stop. From the bus stop, walk down the hill towards the Laxey Glen entrance, which is well-signposted and only a short 5-minute walk away.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the center of Onchan and head northwest on Main Road (A52) towards Douglas. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach the A1 junction. Turn left onto the A1 and cycle for about 2 miles. You will see signs for Laxey Glen on your right. Follow the cycle path leading into the glen. Please remember to wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations.
