    From the Old City of Acre, head south on Ha-Hagana Street towards the Mediterranean Sea. Continue straight until you reach the junction with David Ben Gurion Street. Turn left onto David Ben Gurion Street and follow it until you reach the bus station at the end of the street. Here, you can catch a bus to Safed. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour.

    From the Old City of Acre, walk to the Acre Central Bus Station, which is located just a short distance away. You can access the station by walking along Ha-Hagana Street and turning right onto the main road leading to the bus station. Once at the station, look for a bus that is heading towards Safed (Zefat). The buses are frequent, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Ensure you have a bus ticket before boarding.

  • Shared Taxi (Sherut)

    To take a shared taxi (Sherut) to Safed, walk to the Acre Central Bus Station. Look for the taxi stand, where you will find shared taxis heading to various destinations including Safed. These taxis are a bit quicker than the bus and will leave as soon as they fill up with passengers. The ride to Safed will take approximately 45 minutes.
