Public Bus
From Ashdod Central Bus Station, take Bus Line 7 towards 'Kiryat Gat'. The bus will take you directly to the area near Tel Azekah. Get off at the stop 'Kiryat Gat Junction'. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach Tel Azekah. Head northeast on Route 44 and follow the signs for Tel Azekah. The archaeological site is clearly marked, and you will see the entrance as you approach.
Walking
If you're starting from the Ashdod Marina, you can walk to Tel Azekah. Head northeast on the main road towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 44. Turn left onto Route 44 and follow the road for about 4 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Tel Azekah. The walk will take approximately 1 hour, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi. You can easily find taxis at various points in Ashdod, including the Central Bus Station and city center. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Tel Azekah'. The drive will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic, and will drop you off right at the entrance of the archaeological site.
