From Manger Square in Bethlehem, head east on Star Street (Via Dolorosa) towards the checkpoint. After passing through the checkpoint, continue walking straight for about 1.5 km. You'll reach the Old City of Jerusalem. Follow the signs towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is located on the Temple Mount. You will see the mosque's distinctive golden dome as you approach.

From Manger Square, walk to the nearby bus station (located on the main road) and catch a bus to Jerusalem. Buses frequently run between Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Ask the driver to let you off at the Damascus Gate. Once you arrive at the Damascus Gate, exit the old city and follow the signs towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is around a 15-minute walk from there.
