Walking
From Manger Square in Bethlehem, head north towards Star Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road (Bethlehem - Jerusalem Road). Cross the road and follow the signs towards Jerusalem. Once you reach the entrance to the city of Jerusalem, continue straight until you reach the traffic circle. At the traffic circle, take the second exit onto Mount Zion Street. Follow this street until you see signs for Dormition Abbey on your left. The abbey will be located on a hilltop, and you can walk up the pathway to reach the entrance.
Bus
From Manger Square, walk to the local bus station located nearby. Look for bus number 21 or 24, which travels directly to the Jerusalem Central Bus Station. Board the bus and enjoy the ride, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem, exit the bus and head towards the light rail station. Take the light rail towards the Mount Herzl direction and get off at the 'Zion Square' stop. From there, follow the signs towards Mount Zion and Dormition Abbey, which will be within a 10-minute walk.

If you prefer to take a taxi, you can find one at Manger Square. Inform the driver that you want to go to Dormition Abbey in Jerusalem. The taxi will take you directly to the abbey, which is about a 20-minute drive depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before getting in, or ask for the meter to be used.
