Walking
From the center of Bethlehem, start at Manger Square. Head north on Manger Street towards the Bethlehem Peace Center. Continue straight until you reach the main road, and cross to the other side at the pedestrian crossing. Once across, turn left onto the main road, which is called Route 60. Walk for about 2 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes on your way. Keep an eye out for the signs that point towards Jerusalem. After approximately 20-30 minutes of walking, you will reach the border crossing into Jerusalem. Follow the signs to the Pater Noster Church, which is located on the Mount of Olives. The church is situated at the address Jerusalem 1040435.
Public Transport
From Manger Square in Bethlehem, walk to the main bus station located on the main road. Look for the bus that goes to Jerusalem; it will be marked in Hebrew and Arabic. Purchase a ticket from the driver. The bus ride should take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic and border crossing. Once you arrive in Jerusalem, you can take bus number 75 or a taxi to the Mount of Olives. Ask the driver to drop you off at Pater Noster Church, which is known for its stunning views and historical significance.
