Walking
From Manger Square in Bethlehem, head northwest on Star Street (Derech HaStar) towards the main road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with David Street. Turn left onto David Street and walk until you arrive at the main road (Jerusalem Road). Once you reach the road, you will see signs for the bus station. Take a bus to Jerusalem, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop closest to the Old City. After getting off, follow the signs towards the Jaffa Gate, which is a prominent entrance to the Old City. Once you exit the Old City through Jaffa Gate, continue walking straight and follow signs to the Ratisbonne Monastery, located a short distance away.
Public Bus
From Manger Square, walk to the main bus station located on the outskirts of Bethlehem. Look for the bus heading to Jerusalem (these buses are frequent and labeled accordingly). The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Jerusalem, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Old City area. After disembarking, follow the signs to the Jaffa Gate and from there, navigate through the Old City towards the Ratisbonne Monastery, which is nearby.

At Manger Square, find the shared taxi (servis) stand. You can take a shared taxi to the central bus station in Jerusalem. These are typically quicker than a regular bus. Once you arrive at the bus station in Jerusalem, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the Ratisbonne Monastery. If you choose to walk, head towards the Old City and follow the aforementioned directions to the monastery.
