Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Bethlehem, head north towards the main road, Beit Sahour Road. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto the road towards the checkpoint. Walk straight until you reach the Bethlehem Checkpoint. After passing through security, continue straight to enter Jerusalem. Once in Jerusalem, walk towards Derech Ruppin Street. You will see signs pointing to the Israel Museum. The museum will be on your right at Derech Ruppin 11.

• Public Bus

  From Manger Square in Bethlehem, take bus number 21 or 24 towards Jerusalem. The bus will take you directly to the central bus station in Jerusalem. From there, transfer to bus number 18 or 75 heading towards the Israel Museum. Get off at the stop for the museum, which is located directly in front of Derech Ruppin 11.

• Taxi or Shared Taxi

  You can find shared taxis (called 'service') in Bethlehem near Manger Square. Look for one going to Jerusalem. Once you arrive at the taxi drop-off point in Jerusalem, ask the driver to take you to Derech Ruppin 11 or the Israel Museum. The museum is a well-known landmark, so drivers are familiar with the location.
