Walking
From the center of Bethlehem, start at Manger Square, which is the main square in front of the Church of the Nativity. Head west on Manger Square toward Star Street. Continue on Star Street until you reach the intersection with the Bethlehem-Jerusalem Road. Cross the road and continue straight to the checkpoint at the border with Jerusalem. After passing through the checkpoint, you will enter Jerusalem. Continue walking straight on Jaffa Road, and then take a left onto King George Street. The Jerusalem Great Synagogue will be on your left at number 56.

From Manger Square in Bethlehem, walk to the nearby bus station located on the Bethlehem-Jerusalem Road. Look for buses heading to Jerusalem, specifically those labeled 'Number 21' or 'Number 24'. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Jerusalem, get off at the central bus station. From there, walk towards Jaffa Road and then head west until you reach King George Street. Turn left onto King George Street, and the Jerusalem Great Synagogue will be at number 56 on your left.
