Getting There

Walking

From Manger Square in Bethlehem, head towards the main street, Star Street. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the checkpoint at the end of the street. Here, you will need to go through security to enter Jerusalem. Once you pass through the checkpoint, continue straight ahead towards the Old City. Follow the signs for the Jewish Quarter. It should take you about 10-15 minutes to reach the Jewish Quarter from the checkpoint.
Public Transit (Bus)

Start at Manger Square and walk to the nearest bus stop, located on the main street. Look for bus number 21, which goes directly to the Jerusalem Central Bus Station. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Central Bus Station, exit and follow the signs to the light rail station. Take the light rail towards 'Mount Herzl' and get off at the 'City Hall' stop. From there, follow the signs or ask for directions to the Old City and the Jewish Quarter, which is about a 10-15 minute walk.
Taxi or Shared Taxi (Service)

From any point in Bethlehem, you can hail a taxi or shared taxi (known as a 'service') to Jerusalem. Make sure to specify that you want to go to the Jewish Quarter. The journey will take around 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off near one of the entrances to the Old City.
