Getting There

  • On Foot

    From Manger Square, head towards the Church of the Nativity. Once you reach the church, take the main road (Cave of the Nativity Street) towards the north. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the main road leading to Jerusalem. Turn left onto this road and walk straight until you reach the checkpoint at the border. After passing through the checkpoint, follow the signs directing you to the Old City of Jerusalem. Once you enter the Old City, continue walking straight until you see the Tower of David on your right.

    From Manger Square, walk to the nearest bus station (located near the Bethlehem checkpoint). Take bus number 21 or 24 towards Jerusalem. The bus will take you to the central bus station in Jerusalem. From there, walk towards the Jaffa Gate entrance of the Old City. After passing through the Jaffa Gate, follow the signs for the Tower of David, which will be located a short distance ahead on your left.

  • Shared Taxi (Service Taxi)

    Head to the main taxi stand located near Manger Square. Look for a shared taxi (service taxi) heading towards Jerusalem. Once you reach Jerusalem, ask the driver to drop you off at the Jaffa Gate. From the Jaffa Gate, walk straight into the Old City and follow the signs to the Tower of David, which will be on your left after a short walk.
