Walking
From your current location in Ein Gedi, head towards the main road (Route 90) that runs parallel to the Dead Sea. Walk north along this road until you reach the bus stop near Ein Gedi Kibbutz. This should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point.

At the Ein Gedi Kibbutz bus stop, wait for a bus heading to Jerusalem. The bus service operates regularly, so you shouldn't have to wait long. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you are going to the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours.

When you arrive at the central bus station in Jerusalem, exit the bus and head towards the direction of the Old City. You can ask for directions to the Damascus Gate, which is one of the main entrances to the Old City. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station.
