Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve entrance. Head southwest on the main path that leads into the reserve. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the sign for the Nahal David trail. Take the Nahal David trail, which will lead you through beautiful landscapes. Continue along this trail for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork. At the fork, take the left path that leads towards the cliffs. After another 1 kilometer, you will reach the base of the cliffs, where you can begin to see the ruins of the Northern Palace in the distance.

Walking
If you are starting from the Ein Gedi Kibbutz, exit the kibbutz and head towards the main road (Route 90). Walk north along Route 90 for about 2 kilometers until you see the entrance to Ein Gedi Nature Reserve on your right. Once inside the reserve, follow the instructions above from the nature reserve entrance.

For those staying in nearby towns like Arad or Masada, take a local bus to the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. Once you arrive at the reserve, continue your journey on foot as described above. The nearest bus stop is at the entrance of the reserve, making it easy to access the walking paths.
