Getting There

Walking
From the Ein Gedi Kibbutz, head north on the main road that runs through the area. Continue walking until you reach the fork in the road, then take the left path towards the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. Follow the signs for the reserve, which will lead you towards the main entrance. Once you pass through the entrance, continue straight until you see a bus stop nearby. You can catch a bus that goes to Jericho from here.

From the entrance of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, board the bus heading towards Jericho. Ensure you check the bus schedule beforehand to avoid long waiting times. The bus ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in Jericho, exit the bus and head towards Main Square, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

Taxi (shared)
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a shared taxi (service taxi) from Ein Gedi to Jericho. These taxis are often waiting near the entrance of the Nature Reserve. Share the ride with other tourists or locals heading in the same direction. The fare is usually reasonable, and the journey takes around 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Main Square in Jericho.
