Follow the signs for Gamla Nature Reserve, which is about 15 minutes from the turnoff. The parking area is available at the entrance of the reserve. Note that there is an entrance fee of approximately 28 NIS per adult.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Tiberias to Katzrin, which is the closest major town to Gamla. Bus services are available through Egged. Once in Katzrin, you can either take a taxi directly to Gamla Nature Reserve or check for any local shuttle services that might be operating. The taxi ride from Katzrin to Gamla will take about 20 minutes and may cost around 100 NIS.

  • Hiking/Walking

    If you're already in the Golan Heights and prefer a more adventurous route, you can hike from the nearby town of Katzrin to Gamla. This hike is approximately 7 km and can take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Ensure you have enough water and a map. The trail offers beautiful views but is not recommended for beginners.
