There is a parking lot available near the entrance to Mount Zion. From the parking lot, it is a short walk to Dormition Abbey, which is located on the southern slope of Mount Zion.
Public Transportation

To reach Dormition Abbey using public transportation, take the light rail from any central station in Jerusalem to the City Hall station. From there, transfer to bus line 99, which goes directly to Mount Zion. Get off at the Mount Zion stop. After disembarking, follow the signs leading to Dormition Abbey, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking

If you are already in the vicinity of the Old City, you can walk to Dormition Abbey. From Zion Gate, head south towards Mount Zion. The walk is approximately 15 minutes. Follow the signs for Dormition Abbey, and you will find the entrance situated just a few meters from the Tomb of David.
