Walking
If you are starting from the Old City of Jerusalem, head towards the Jaffa Gate. Once you reach Jaffa Gate, proceed down the main street (Sultan Suleiman Street) that leads to the north. Walk approximately 10-15 minutes along Sultan Suleiman Street, and you will find Herod's Gate on your left. It is marked by a prominent archway.
Walking
If you are at the Western Wall, exit the plaza and turn left onto the main road. Walk towards the Dung Gate. Once you reach the Dung Gate, continue along the road and take a right onto Sultan Suleiman Street. Walk for about 10 minutes until you see Herod's Gate on your right-hand side.
Public Transport
From the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem, take bus number 74 towards the Old City. Get off at the 'Herod's Gate' stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance down Sultan Suleiman Street, and you will see the gate directly ahead.
Walking
If you are at the Damascus Gate, exit the gate and walk straight down Sultan Suleiman Street. It is a 15-minute walk. As you walk, you will pass through beautiful areas filled with shops and local culture. Herod's Gate will be on your right.
