Getting there

Bus

From the city center in West Jerusalem, walk to the nearest bus stop. Look for bus number 74 or 75, which frequently run towards the Old City. Board the bus and enjoy a short ride (approximately 10-15 minutes) to the 'Davidka Square' stop. Once you disembark, head toward the 'Jaffa Gate' of the Old City.

Walking

After exiting the bus at 'Jaffa Gate', walk through the gate into the Old City. Continue straight along 'David Street' until you reach 'Ain Karim Street'. Turn left and walk until you reach 'Tzahal Square'. From there, follow the signs towards the 'Southern Wall' which is located near the Temple Mount area. It should take about 20-30 minutes of walking.

Light Rail

Alternatively, you can take the Jerusalem Light Rail from the 'Central Bus Station' or any station along Jaffa Road. Board the light rail and get off at 'City Hall' station. From there, walk towards 'Jaffa Gate'. Enter the Old City and follow the same walking directions as mentioned above towards the 'Southern Wall'. The Light Rail ride will take approximately 15 minutes.

Taxi or Rideshare

If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or a rideshare service like Gett or Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Southern Wall, Jerusalem'. The cost will vary depending on your starting point but expect to pay around 30-50 NIS. The drive should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
