Once you reach Jerusalem, look for signs directing you to the Old City. Follow the signs for the Old City and enter through the Jaffa Gate, which is the most direct route. After entering, you can either walk or drive towards the Dung Gate area, which is located on the southern side of the Old City. Parking is limited around the Old City, so it's advisable to park in designated parking areas outside the walls and walk the rest of the way. The Dung Gate is about a 10-minute walk from the nearest parking area.

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from your location in the Judean Desert to Jerusalem. The Egged bus company operates services from various locations. Once you arrive at the central bus station in Jerusalem, you can take light rail, Line 1, towards Mount Herzl.
