Getting There

• Walking

  From the City Center, head towards the intersection of Jaffa Street and King George Street. Walk along Jaffa Street until you reach the Zion Square. From Zion Square, continue straight to the traffic circle and take the exit towards Hillel Street. Walk down Hillel Street until you reach the intersection with the Derech Hebron street. Turn left onto Derech Hebron and continue straight. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards the City of David (אתר מורשת - עיר דוד) as you approach the Old City walls. The entrance is located in the area known as the City of David National Park.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the City Center, you can take bus number 1 or 74 from the central bus stop located near Zion Square. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the 'City of David' stop. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs towards the entrance of the City of David National Park.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Gett or Uber. Simply request a ride from your location in City Center to 'City of David' or 'אתר מורשת - עיר דוד'. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Please note that this option may incur additional costs.
