Getting There

Walking
From the Masada National Park entrance, head towards the visitor center. Once you reach the visitor center, look for the signs directing you to the Masada Snake Path. Begin your ascent on the Snake Path, which is a well-marked trail. After approximately 30-40 minutes of hiking, you will reach the top of Masada. From there, look for signs leading to Metsoke Dragot, which is located south of Masada. Follow the path down towards the Dead Sea and keep an eye out for the signs leading you to Metsoke Dragot.

From Masada, take the bus service that runs towards Ein Gedi. You can catch the bus from the bus stop located near the visitor center. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at Metsoke Dragot. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs leading you to the Metsoke Dragot area.
