From Modi'in, walk to the closest bus stop, which is located on Ben Gurion Street. Catch the 131 or 132 bus heading towards Jerusalem. The bus will take you directly to the central bus station in Jerusalem. Once you arrive at the central bus station, exit and look for the light rail station. Take the light rail towards 'The City' and get off at the 'City Hall' station. From there, it’s a short walk to Dormition Abbey – Hagia Maria.

Start by walking to the Modi'in train station. Purchase a ticket to the 'Jerusalem - Yitzhak Navon' station. The train ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jerusalem station, exit and follow the signs to the light rail. Board the light rail towards 'The City' and get off at the 'City Hall' station. From there, walk towards Dormition Abbey – Hagia Maria, which is a few blocks away.

If you are already in the city center of Modi'in, you can walk to the central bus station located on Ben Gurion Street.
