From Modi'in, walk to the nearest bus stop (check local maps for the closest stop). Take bus line 44 towards Jerusalem. The bus will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Jerusalem, get off at the 'Jaffa Gate' stop. From there, walk towards the Old City and follow the signs to the Jewish Quarter. The Burnt House is located within the Jewish Quarter. It is a short walk from the Jaffa Gate, approximately 10 minutes.

Head to the Modi'in train station. Purchase a ticket to the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon station. The train ride will take about 25 minutes. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to the Burnt House, following the signs to the Jewish Quarter.
