From central Modi'in, head to the Modi'in Central Bus Station. Take bus number 180 towards Jerusalem. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the 'Jerusalem Central Bus Station'. From there, follow the signs to the light rail station, and take the tram towards 'Mount Herzl'. Get off at the 'Zion Square' stop. From Zion Square, walk towards the Old City entrance and follow the signs to Zion Gate, which is about a 10-minute walk.
Walking
If you are near the Modi'in train station, you can walk to the bus station and take bus number 180 as described, or you can enjoy a scenic walk in the area. From the train station, head south on Moshavot Street, then turn left on to Rehov HaKfar. After about 20 minutes of walking, you can catch bus 180 directly from the bus stop near the train station.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Modi'in to Zion Gate in Jerusalem. Just tell the driver to take you to 'Sha'ar Zion' (Zion Gate). This option is more expensive but will drop you off directly at your destination.
Rideshare
You can also use rideshare apps like Gett or Uber. Simply set your destination to Zion Gate in Jerusalem. The drivers are familiar with the area and will take you directly to your destination.
