The bus journey will take approximately 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nahariya bus station, transfer to a bus heading towards Safed (Zefat). The buses to Safed typically run every hour. Once on the bus to Safed, enjoy the scenic ride which may take around 45-60 minutes, depending on traffic. After arriving in Safed, disembark at the main bus station and follow the signs to the Old City, which is a short walk from there.
Taxi
From Rosh HaNikra, you can take a taxi directly to Safed. You can find taxi services near your accommodation or at designated taxi stands. The taxi ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip. This option is the most convenient if you are traveling with luggage or prefer a direct route without transfers.
Train and Bus
To reach Safed from Rosh HaNikra, first walk to the nearest train station in Nahariya, which is about a 15-minute walk. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the train towards Tzfat (Safed). The train ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching the Tzfat train station, you can take a local bus or taxi to the city center of Safed, which is about a 10-minute drive.
