Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Zikhron Ya'akov, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on HaShmura Street. Take the bus number 821 or 823 towards Haifa and get off at the 'Megiddo Junction' stop. This journey will take around 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Megiddo Junction, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers to reach Megiddo National Park. Head east on Route 66, and then turn left onto the road leading to the park entrance.

  • Taxi

    For a more direct route, you can also call a taxi from Zikhron Ya'akov. It is recommended to ask for a taxi service in advance. Provide them with the destination address: Megiddo, 18230. The taxi ride should take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Walking (if nearby)

    If you are in a nearby area, such as the outskirts of Zikhron Ya'akov, you can opt to walk to Megiddo National Park. Head towards Route 66 and follow the signs for Megiddo. The park is approximately 5 kilometers away from central Zikhron Ya'akov, and the walk can take about 1 hour. Make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes.
