Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from Bolzano. Take the SS38 road towards Merano. After approximately 10 km, take the exit for Ritten (Renon). Follow the signs for Ritten and continue on the SP64 road. After about 10 minutes driving, you will reach the village of Longomoso (Longomoso). Continue on the SP64 until you reach the Earth Pyramids parking area, located at Plattl, 7c, 39054 Ritten. Parking is available nearby and generally costs around €5 for the day.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach the Earth Pyramids using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Bolzano to Ritten. You can catch the bus number 166 from the Bolzano bus station. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Ritten, transfer to the Renon cable car (funivia del Renon) at the Ritten cable car station. The cable car ride takes about 12 minutes and offers stunning views. Upon arriving at the top, follow the signs for the Earth Pyramids, which is a short walk from the cable car station. Note that the combined cost for the bus and cable car is around €8-€10 per person.
