Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the city of Bressanone (Brixen) in Alto Adige. From Bressanone, take the SS12 road towards the town of Chiusa. After about 14 km, take the exit for Stanghe. Follow the signs for Gilfenklamm, which is located approximately 2 km from the exit. There is a parking area near the entrance where you can leave your vehicle. Be aware that parking may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a regional train from Bolzano to Bressanone. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Bressanone, transfer to a local bus heading to Stanghe. The bus ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Disembark at the Stanghe stop, which is a short walk from the entrance to Gilfenklamm. Ensure you check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
Walking
If you are already in Stanghe, you can walk to Gilfenklamm. From the center of Stanghe, head towards the main road and follow the signs for Gilfenklamm. The walk is about 1.5 km and takes approximately 20-30 minutes. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views, making it a pleasant trek.
