From Amalfi, head to the main bus stop located near the Piazza Flavio Gioia. Take the Sita bus towards Naples. Make sure to check the schedule as buses may not run frequently. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach Ercolano Scavi station. Once you arrive, exit the bus and follow the signs to the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum, which is about a 10-minute walk.

Start at the Amalfi harbor and take a ferry to Naples. After disembarking in Naples, head to the nearby Metro station and take Line 2 towards Pozzuoli. Get off at the Ercolano Scavi stop. From there, follow the signs towards the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum, which is roughly a 15-minute walk.

Walk to the Amalfi bus station and take the Sita bus to Salerno. From Salerno, catch a train to Ercolano on the Trenitalia line. The train ride will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ercolano station, exit and follow the signs to the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum, which is about a 15-minute walk.
