Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Herculaneum Archaeological Park entrance, head southeast on Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi toward Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma. Walk for about 500 meters until you reach Piazza del Pugliano. From the square, continue straight onto Corso Resina. After about 300 meters, you will find the entrance to the House of the Gem on your right. The site is well-marked and should be easy to spot.

Public Transport
From the Herculaneum train station, exit the station and turn left onto Via Roma. Follow Via Roma for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Corso Resina. Here, you can catch a local bus (look for bus stops marked with the 'EAV' logo) heading towards Ercolano Scavi. After a short ride, disembark at the stop nearest to the House of the Gem. Walk a short distance to your right to reach the entrance, which is well-signposted.
