Walking
From the main square of Amalfi, Piazza del Duomo, head towards Via Matteo Camera. Continue walking straight until you reach the bus stop. Take the Sita Bus towards Naples. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Naples, get off at the stop 'Piazza Sannazaro'. From there, walk towards Via Mergellina, and then take the funicular railway from the Mergellina station to the top of the hill. The Certosa e Museo di San Martino will be a short walk from the funicular exit.

From Amalfi, walk to the nearest Sita bus stop at Piazza Flavio Gioia. Board the bus heading to Naples. Once you arrive at the Naples bus terminal, transfer to the Metro Line 2 at Garibaldi Station towards Pozzuoli. Get off at the Mergellina Station. From there, follow the signs to the funicular railway station and take it up to Certosa e Museo di San Martino.
