If you are in Amalfi town, start by heading towards the main road (Via Lorenzo di Medici) that runs along the coast. Walk west along this road towards Atrani. Continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach a sign for Praiano. You will see beautiful coastal views along the way. As you approach Praiano, you will enter the town on Via Gennaro Capriglione. Keep walking straight until you reach the center of Praiano.

From Amalfi, head to the main bus stop located near the Piazza Flavio Gioia. Look for the SITA bus that goes towards Positano. Make sure to get on the bus heading to Praiano, as some buses may only go to Positano. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Praiano, disembark at the main stop (Praiano), and you will be in the heart of the town.

While there is no direct boat service to Praiano, you can take a ferry from Amalfi to Positano. Once you arrive in Positano, you can either walk or take a local bus to Praiano. The ferry ride takes about 20 minutes. When you reach Positano, look for the bus stop at the harbor (near the main beach area) and catch a bus that goes towards Praiano, which is only a short distance away.
