Magical in every way- A million star experience

If I could give Casa Alfonsina 100 stars, I would. This was, single-handedly, one of the most magical experiences of our lives and something our family will never forget. From the moment we met Federica and Simone, we knew this was going to be special. They picked us up personally and welcomed us into the most breathtaking setting we have ever seen. The beautifully restored estate overlooks the Amalfi Coast and feels like something out of a dream. Imagine sitting beneath a vine-covered pergola surrounded by grapes, berries, fruit trees and lush gardens, with incredible views stretching out before you. Every corner of the property has been restored and created with so much love and care. Before we even began our ceramics, they had fresh food prepared for us to enjoy. Then there was the art studio — truly the most beautiful and inspiring studio you could ever imagine. But as extraordinary as the setting was, Federica and Simone are what made this experience unforgettable. They are two of the kindest, warmest and most genuine human beings we have ever met. Their love of art is evident in everything they do, but what touched us most was the way they welcomed and cared for our 8-year-old twin boys. They were patient, encouraging and completely engaged with them, making the boys feel like true little artists. Together, we created beautiful ceramic pieces that will forever remind us of our time on the Amalfi Coast. And somehow, they went even further — after finishing our pieces, they personally hand-delivered them to us the following evening. Casa Alfonsina isn’t simply a ceramics class. It’s art, food, family, nature, hospitality and the beauty of Italy all wrapped into one extraordinary experience. We arrived as guests and genuinely felt as though we left having made new friends. Federica and Simone, thank you for giving our family a memory we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Absolutely amazing experience. Ombretta was so friendly and informative. We were with two other people who are Italian and Ombretta seamlessly went between English and Italian to explain. We were so comfortable we made lasting friends with the Italian couple. The wines were fantastic, the food fantastic and location too.
