Car
If you are driving, start from the city of Aosta. Head east on Via Monte Emilius (SS26) toward Strada Statale 26. Continue on SS26 for about 19 kilometers until you reach the town of Nus. From Nus, take the exit for SR47 and follow it for approximately 12 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs for Saint-Barthélemy; turn left onto Località Lignan. The observatory is located at Località Lignan, 39, 11020 Saint-Barthélemy AO. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Aosta to the town of Saint-Barthélemy. From the Aosta Bus Station, board a bus heading toward Saint-Barthélemy. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Saint-Barthélemy, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the Astronomical Observatory. Follow the signs toward Località Lignan, and enjoy the scenic walk through the valley.

Public Transportation (Train + Bus)
Alternatively, you can take a train from Aosta to the nearby town of Châtillon. From Châtillon, transfer to a local bus that goes to Saint-Barthélemy. This option might take longer, but it offers a chance to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Aosta Valley. Upon reaching Saint-Barthélemy, you’ll need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to the observatory, as mentioned above.
