Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Aosta city center. Head east on Via Monte Emilius towards Strada Statale 26. Continue on SS26 for approximately 27 km, then take the exit towards Brusson. Follow the signs for Brusson, and once you enter the town, follow the signs to Castello di Graines. The castle is located at 11022 Brusson, Aosta Valley. You can park your car near the castle. Note that there may be parking fees in some areas.
Public Transportation
To reach Castello di Graines by public transportation, take a train from Aosta to Verrès. From the Verrès train station, you can catch a local bus towards Brusson. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. You will want to get off at the stop closest to Castello di Graines. The castle is a short walk from the bus stop. Be aware that the total travel time may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on connections.
Walking
If you are already in Brusson, you can walk to Castello di Graines. The castle is located about 1.5 km from the town center. From the main square in Brusson, head towards Via Castello. Follow the signs that direct you to Castello di Graines. The walk is uphill, so be prepared for a moderate hike, and it should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
