Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the city center of Aosta. From the Aosta exit on the A5 motorway, follow the signs for Aosta. Once in the city, navigate to Via Monte Solarolo. The Roman Walls are located at Via Monte Solarolo, 1, 11100 Aosta AO. There is street parking available nearby, but be mindful of parking regulations. The walls are easily visible and accessible from the road.
Public Transportation
To reach the Roman Walls using public transportation, take a bus to Aosta from other towns in Aosta Valley. The main bus station is located in Aosta city center. Once you arrive, exit the bus station and make your way to Via Monte Solarolo. You can walk or take a taxi, as the walls are approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station. If you prefer to walk, head east on Via Monte Croce, then turn right onto Via Monte Solarolo where you will find the Roman Walls.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Aosta, you can easily walk to the Roman Walls. From the city center, head east towards Via Monte Croce. After a short walk, turn right onto Via Monte Solarolo. The Roman Walls will be on your left. This is a pleasant walk that will allow you to enjoy the surrounding architecture and atmosphere of Aosta.
