If you are driving from Bari, take the A14 highway heading south. Exit at 'Monopoli' and follow the signs towards the city center. Once in Monopoli, continue straight until you reach Largo Castello. The Castello Carlo V will be on your left. Parking may be limited, so consider parking in nearby lots and walking to the castle.

Take a train from Bari Centrale to Monopoli. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Monopoli train station, exit the station and walk straight towards Via Roma. Continue walking until you reach the old town area. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Largo Castello, where you will find Castello Carlo V.

From Bari, you can take a bus from the 'Piazza Aldo Moro' bus station to Monopoli. The journey usually takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Monopoli's bus station, exit and walk towards the old town. Head towards Largo Castello, and you will see Castello Carlo V nearby.
