Car
If you're driving from Matera city center, head southwest on Via del Corso towards Via Vittorio Veneto. Continue onto Via Roma, which will lead you out of the city. Follow signs for SS7 towards Bari. After about 4 km, take the exit for Matera Nord and merge onto Strada Statale 7. Continue on this road for approximately 8 km until you reach Contrada Murgia Timone. Look for the Centro Visite Jazzo Gattini sign on your right, where you can park your car.

Public Transportation
To reach Centro Visite Jazzo Gattini using public transport, start at the Matera bus terminal. Take the 'Matera - Montescaglioso' bus (line 2). The bus should depart every 30 minutes. Inform the driver you want to get off at Contrada Murgia Timone. Once you arrive, you will see signs for the visitor center. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the entrance of the center.

Car
If you're coming from Bari, take the A14 highway towards Taranto. After about 50 km, take the exit towards Matera. Merge onto SS7 and follow it for about 50 km to Matera. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the city center and then proceed to Contrada Murgia Timone as described above.

Public Transportation
For those traveling from Bari by train, take a train from Bari Centrale to Matera (the journey takes about 1 hour). Upon arrival at the Matera train station, head to the nearby bus terminal and take the 'Matera - Montescaglioso' bus (line 2) to Contrada Murgia Timone. Inform the driver to stop at Centro Visite Jazzo Gattini. The visitor center will be a short walk from the bus stop.
