Car
If you are driving from Bari, take the A14 motorway towards Taranto. After approximately 40 km, take exit 12 for Putignano. Follow the signs for SS 172 towards Putignano. Continue on SS 172 for about 10 km, and you will find Grotta del Trullo on your right, just before entering the town of Putignano. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
From Bari Centrale train station, take a train to Putignano. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Putignano station, you can take a local bus (Line 1) that goes towards SS 172, or opt for a taxi. The Grotta del Trullo is about 5 km from the station, so the bus or taxi ride will take approximately 10 minutes.
Taxi or Ride Share
If you prefer a more direct route from any part of Putignano, you can use a local taxi service or ride-sharing apps like Uber. Just provide the driver with the address: SS 172 tratto Putignano-Turi, 70017 Putignano BA. The cost will vary depending on your starting point within Putignano but expect to pay around €10-€15 for a trip to the Grotta del Trullo.
