Getting There

• Train

  From Bari Centrale train station, purchase a ticket to Bisceglie. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bisceglie train station, exit the station and head southwest toward Via Nazario Sauro. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Porto di Bisceglie. Follow the main road, Via Nazario Sauro, until you reach the marina at number 40.

• Bus

  Take the local bus from Bari to Bisceglie. You can catch the bus from the central bus station near Bari Centrale train station. Make sure to check the schedule for the bus number (usually 10 or 12) that goes to Bisceglie. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bisceglie bus stop, walk towards the marina along Via Nazario Sauro, which is about a 10-minute walk.

• Walking

  If you are already in the central area of Bari and wish to walk, head towards the coastline and follow the signs toward the port area. It’s a long walk of approximately 40 kilometers, which could take over 8 hours, so it’s recommended to use public transport instead. However, for a scenic walk, you can follow the coastal road to Bisceglie, enjoying the views along the way.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Bari. Follow the coastal bike path heading northwest towards Bisceglie. The distance is about 40 kilometers, and it would take approximately 2-3 hours to reach Porto di Bisceglie. Make sure to follow the signs for safe cycling routes along the coastline.
