From Arezzo, head to the Arezzo bus station (Stazione Autobus Arezzo) located near the railway station. Look for buses heading to Pienza. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pienza bus station, exit the station and walk straight ahead for about 500 meters until you reach Piazza Pio II. The Palazzo Piccolomini will be located on your right.

Train and Bus
Start at the Arezzo train station (Stazione di Arezzo). Take a train towards Siena. After reaching Siena, exit the train and transfer to the local bus service (Line 112) heading to Pienza. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pienza bus station, exit the station and walk straight ahead for about 500 meters until you reach Piazza Pio II, where you will find the Palazzo Piccolomini on your right.

If you are already in the center of Arezzo, you can walk to the bus station (Stazione Autobus Arezzo) located near the railway station. From there, take a bus to Pienza as described above. Walking directly to Pienza is not feasible due to the distance (approximately 30 km), but the bus is a comfortable option.
