Once you are in front of the basilica, turn right onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via Vittorio Emanuele II. Cross the street and head left onto Via dei Fori Imperiali, which will eventually take you towards the historical center of Rome.

From the Vatican Necropolis, you can also take a more direct route. Exit the Necropolis and walk towards the Vatican Museums entrance. Once there, make your way to the exit of the museums and head towards Viale Vaticano. Follow Viale Vaticano until you reach Piazza della Libertà. From Piazza della Libertà, walk straight down Via del Quirinale, and you will find Chiesa di San Carlino alle Quattro Fontane at Via del Quirinale, 23.
