Walking
From the Assisi town center, head southwest towards the Basilica di Santa Chiara. Continue past the basilica until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco. Turn left onto Via San Francesco and walk towards the Basilica di San Francesco. After visiting the basilica, exit and head down Via Frate Elia, which turns into Strada Provinciale di Spello. Follow this road as it curves around. Keep walking straight, and you'll eventually see signs for Fosso della Vallaccia. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes from the town center.

From the Assisi train station, take a local bus that heads towards Spello. Make sure to check the schedule as buses may run infrequently. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop closest to Fosso della Vallaccia. Once you get off the bus, you may need to walk a short distance along Strada Provinciale di Spello to reach the site, which is about a 10-minute walk.
