If you are starting from the Assisi train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Via Giovanni Paolo II). Follow the signs for Assisi Centro. It will take around 30 minutes to walk. As you walk, you will be ascending through the town. Upon reaching the main entrance of Assisi, the Porta Nuova, continue straight until you reach Piazza del Comune. La Volta Pinta is located at Piazza del Comune, 10, on your right.

From the Assisi train station, take the local bus towards Assisi Centro. The bus stop is located just outside the station. Board the bus and enjoy the short ride; it should take about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Piazza del Comune'. Once you disembark, walk towards Piazza del Comune, and La Volta Pinta will be at number 10 on your right.

If you are visiting the Basilica di San Francesco, exit the basilica and head down towards the town center. Follow the signs for Piazza del Comune. It is a pleasant walk, taking about 15 minutes.
